Indonesia Traditional Food - Sate like a barbeque dish that exist in every culinary culture worldwide. Sate is the food of chicken, lamb or beef that was stabbed and then burned. Usually the sate served with peanut sauce or soy sauce seasoning. Sate in addition to Indonesia, including the preferred food of Indonesia's most popular  foreigner.


Sate is a food made from pieces of meat cut into small pieces, and the puncture,  satr sticks are usually made of bone or bamboo palm leaves, and then burnt using charcoal embers. Skewers and served with assorted condiments that depends on satay recipe variations.


Sate is known from Java, Indonesia, and can be found anywhere in Indonesia and has been regarded as one of Indonesia's national cuisine. Satay is also popular in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Thailand. Sate is also popular in Indonesia Dutch-influenced cuisine that was once a colony.

Usually the sate with sauce. This could be a seasoning sauce of soy sauce, peanut sauce, or something else, usually accompanied by pickled red onion slices, cucumber, and cayenne pepper. Satay is eaten with hot rice or, if in some areas are served with rice cake or rice cake.
